Strictly following the program schedule, today the project is completed after 24 months of implementation time. We are thankful to all the team members for their time and effort, the personnel of the Research Committee for their support and HFRI for their trust in funding this research.

Participation in ACM SOSP 2025
S. Anastasiadis participated in the ACM Symposium on Operating Systems Principles 2025 that took place in Seoul, Republic of Korea (October 13-16th) with accepted poster entitled “Proactive Page Reclamation for Variable Data Intensity” coauthored by R. Participation in ACM APsys 2024
Dr Giorgos Kappes presented our accepted paper entitled “Faster FUSE Filesystems with Efficient Data Transfers” at the 15th ACM SIGOPS Asia-Pacific Workshop on Systems that took place during September 4-5th in Kyoto, Japan. This work has been supported by H.F.R.I. (project no 15206).

TOPPERS project begins
We are glad to announce that the research project entitled “Towards Predictable Performance in Elastic, Reliable and Secure Multitenant Systems (TOPPERS)” has been approved for funding by the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation (HFRI) of the Greek Ministry of Development.
The research team is led by Professor Stergios Anastasiadis and includes Postdoctoral Researcher Dr Giorgos Kappes and Doctoral Candidate Miltiades Vasiliades.
The project is implemented in the Institute of Digital Innovation, Center for Research and Innovation, University of Ioannina.
The research project is funded in the call “Basic research Financing (Horizontal support of all Sciences)” under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU (HFRI Project Number: 15206).
